Finals

Men's flyweight

In Tokyo, France’s Bennama lost to eventual bronze medalist Saken Bibossinov in the Round of 16. Now 26 years old, the Frenchman seems to have found his footing: The No. 1 seed finished runner-up at the 2023 World Championships and won the 2023 European Games.

With the support of his home country in the crowd, he could beat Uzbekistan's Dusmatov -- who earned flyweight gold at the Rio Games, and is seeded second at this tournament.

Women's bantamweight

China's Chang, the No. 8 seed, won gold at the 2018 Asian Games and silver four years later. The 27-year-old's switched between flyweight and bantamweight weight classes throughout her career, which includes an appearance at the 2020 Tokyo Games.

Türkiye's 22-year-old Akbas won several notable gold medals in 2022, including at the World Championships in Istanbul, and should prove a formidable challenge.

History for the Refugee Olympic Team

In one of the 2024 Paris Olympics' most inspiring stories, Ngamba -- originally of Cameroon, currently residing in Great Britain -- has secured a bronze medal, and etched her name in the history books, by advancing to the semifinal. But can she punch her way to the highest podium position on the world's biggest boxing stage?
