Some of the athletes who compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics will become household names by the time competition wraps. Others just simply have memorable names.

There are many competitors to keep an eye on throughout the Paris Olympics, but here are some of the fun ones of athletes from around the world.

Sarah Bacon and Kassidy Cook

Americans Sarah Bacon and Kassidy Cook are members of the women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard team. The two won silver earlier in the Games — the first Olympic medal for both divers. They affectionately refer to themselves as "Team Cook'n Bacon.”

Otgonbold Baatarkhuyag is a Mongolian archer who is making his second Olympics appearance in Paris. His nickname is "Otgoo," but try to say his full name ten times fast.
