When does diving start and end at the 2024 Paris Olympics?
Diving will start on Saturday, July 27 and conclude on Saturday, August 10. There will be live coverage of all eight diving events on the following dates:

What to know about diving at the 2024 Paris Olympics
Only one thing stood between China and a perfect eight-for-eight sweep of the diving gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics: the British duo of Tom Daley and Matty Lee in the men's synchro 10m platform. Daley, 29, heads to his fifth Olympics in Paris alongside new partner Noah Williams in search of a successful defense of his Tokyo gold.
Of course, China remains the odds-on gold medal favorite in every diving event, especially after successfully sweeping the Olympic events at the 2024 World Championships. All eight world champions were named to the roster for Paris, including five defending Olympic gold medalists: Xie Siyi (men’s individual and synchro springboard), Wang Zongyuan (men’s synchro springboard), Cao Yuan (men’s platform), Quan Hongchan (women’s platform) and Chen Yuxi (women’s synchro platform).
After earning three medals at the Tokyo Games, American divers should once again be in the podium mix in Paris. Delaney Schnell and Jessica Parratto, who took silver in the women's synchro 10m platform three years ago, return as arguably Team USA's best hope for a medal. However, Sarah Bacon, both in the individual 3m springboard and in synchro alongside partner Kassidy Cook, is likely to contend as well.
For the first time in 24 years, an American diver will compete in both springboard and platform after Carson Tyler qualified for his first Olympics in both disciplines.
