At the Trond Mohn Games he took gold in the 300m hurdles, followed by the silver medal in the Diamond League Oslo Bislett Games in the 400m hurdles in front of his home crowd. At the European Athletics Championships, Warholm not only took gold in the 400m hurdles, but also set a championship record at 46.98 seconds, one second off his own world record.
