After a disappointing start to her season, with early exits in both the Australian and French Opens, four-time grand slam champion Naomi Osaka is looking to rebound in Paris.

As of 2023, Naomi Osaka is coached by Wim Fissette. Fissette and Osaka previously worked together in 2019 through 2022 before parting ways. In late 2023, the pair reunited. The Belgium-born Fissette has an impressive coaching resume, and has worked with other big names in women's tennis, including Olympic bronze medal winner Victoria Azarenka and Olympian Kim Clijsters.

The Japanese Tennis Association announced June 13 that Naomi Osaka would be among the three players representing the country in the singles tournament in Paris. Osaka will be joined by former U.S. Open finalist Kei Nishikori and Moyuka Uchijima.

Naomi Osaka has competed in several tournaments this year, including the French and Australian Opens.

Two-time Australian Open winner Naomi Osaka fell in the first round of this year's tournament to France's Caroline Garcia.

In the first round of this year's French Open, Naomi Osaka beat Italy's Lucia Bronzetti to advance but fell in the second round to eventual champion Iga Swiatek, who overtook the No. 1 global ranking on June 24.
