With 24 Grand Slam titles, Novak Djokovic is the most highly-decorated player in the modern tennis era.

Novak Djokovic began playing tennis at age 4.

Novak Djokovic turned pro at just 15 years old (2003), winning his first Association of Tennis Professionals title one year later. 

He nabbed his first ATP Tour title at the 2006 Dutch Open without losing a set.

Novak Djokovic has 24 Grand Slam titles — the most in men’s tennis history. 

He is the only men’s singles player in the Open Era to win every major three or more times.

Novak Djokovic is a 10-time Australian Open champion (2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023), the most men’s singles titles in tournament history.

Novak Djokovic is tied with childhood idol Pete Sampras for the second-most Wimbledon titles in tournament history with seven.

Novak Djokovic has competed in four Olympics: 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020. Should he compete in Paris, he will join Lu Yen-Hsun as the only man with five career Olympic singles appearances.

In Beijing in 2008, Novak Djokovic fell in the semifinals to rival Rafael Nadal and went on to beat James Blake for bronze, earning his sole Olympic medal to date.

Novak Djokovic first clinched the No. 1 spot in the world in July 2011. He was 24 years old.

In April 2024, he also became the oldest player in ATP history to hold the top ranking.

Novak Djokovic holds the record for most career weeks at the top ranking with 428. His eight year-end No. 1 finishes (2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023) are also the most in ATP history.

According to ATP, Novak Djokovic has earned over $182 million in prize money.
