By the second quarter of Tuesday's semifinal match at Oi Hockey Stadium, India and Rio 2016 silver medalists Belgium were neck-and-neck -- two a piece. After a scoreless third, Belgium ripped three goals in the fourth for a 5-2 victory -- and sealed a spot in the gold medal match.
Belgium had previously beaten India 3-1 in the Rio quarterfinals before losing to Australia in the 2016 final.
AUSTRALIA DEF. GERMANY
Germany could only manage a single goal and Tim Brand, Blake Govers, and Lachlan Sharp all scored to lead Australia into the final, where they'll look to seal a gold after taking bronze at London 2012.
