The United States will send a full team of 12 skaters — three for each event — to the Paris Olympics. After bringing home a pair of bronze medals from Tokyo three years ago, the Americans will hope for an even better result this summer.

Meet the 2024 U.S. Olympic skateboarding team below.

Men's Street

Led by a pair of returning Olympians (Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston), the U.S. has the firepower to contend for a gold medal in men's street, even with a strong contingent of Japanese skaters in the mix.

Jagger Eaton

The Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist is back for his second Olympics. Eaton, 23, has cemented himself as skateboarding's top dual threat. Although he attempted to qualify in both street and park for Paris 2024, he narrowly missed out on making the park team and will therefore be focused solely on bringing home another street medal.

Nyjah Huston

One of the most successful contest skaters of all time, Huston will compete at his second Olympics following his seventh-place finish in Tokyo. The 29-year-old, who has won 11 X Games skateboard street titles throughout his career, will be among the gold-medal favorites at Paris 2024.

Chris Joslin

Joslin jumped into position to make the U.S. team after a third-place finish at the first Olympic Qualifier Series contest in May. The 28-year-old is a father of two and will be making his Olympic debut in Paris.

Men's Park

Could Team USA get a medal sweep in skateboarding? If it's going to happen, it will most likely be in men's park, where the U.S. finished Olympic qualifying with four of the top five skaters. Because each country can only have a maximum of three skaters in each event,  Eaton missed the cut, but the three Olympic rookies headed to Paris all have medal potential.

Tate Carew

Carew, 19, finished the Olympic qualifying process with the No. 1 ranking in the world in men's park. It's been a rapid rise for the San Diego native, who placed third at the 2023 World Championships and won the Olympic Qualifier Series contest that took place in May.

Gavin Bottger

Bottger is another rising young American star. He's the reigning world champion in men's park, won Dew Tour in 2022, and is a three-time X Games medalist. The 17-year-old was ranked No. 3 in the world in men's park at the conclusion of the Olympic qualifying process.

Tom Schaar

In a dramatic twist, Schaar edged out Eaton for the final spot on the U.S. team in men's park. Needing a top-two finish at the final Olympic Qualifier Series contest to get on the team, the 24-year-old laid down a clutch run that landed him in second place and will send him to Paris. Schaar, who started competing at X Games when he was just 12 years old, was No. 4 in the Olympic qualifying rankings.

Women's Street

With two teenagers (Paige Heyn and Poe Pinson) on the team, the U.S. roster is a reflection of the youth movement that is currently taking place within women's skateboarding.

Paige Heyn

This 16-year-old will be one of the youngest athletes on the U.S. Olympic team in any sport. Heyn, who's known for her ability to land switch tricks, earned a bronze medal at last year's Pan American Games and will make her Olympic debut in Paris.

Poe Pinson

Pinson, 19, is also a first-time Olympian. The Florida native placed third at X Games in 2021 and, more recently, finished fourth at a pivotal Olympic Qualifier Series contest in May.

Mariah Duran

Duran is the only member of the U.S. women's street team returning from the Tokyo Games. The 27-year-old is a contest veteran who has collected six X Games medals (including three gold) throughout her career.

Women's Park

With five skaters in the top 18 of the Olympic qualification rankings, the battle to make the U.S. women's park team ended up being quite competitive. Below are the three skaters who emerged atop the national standings.

Bryce Wettstein

Following a sixth-place result at the Tokyo Games, Wettstein now heads to her second Olympics after finishing eighth in the world rankings during the qualifying period. The 20-year-old has bronze medals from the 2021 X Games and 2023 Pan American Games.

Ruby Lilley

Lilley, a goofy-footed skater hailing from Ocean City, Maryland, will make her Olympic debut in Paris. The 17-year-old scored her first X Games medal, a silver in women's park, last year in Japan. She's currently No. 11 in the world rankings.

Minna Stess

Stess, who made her X Games debut at age 13, secured the last spot on the U.S. women's park team by finishing 13th in the world rankings, just one spot ahead of Grace Marhoefer. The 18-year-old is coming off a season in which she earned a bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships.
