Olympic table tennis athletes to watch on Team USA
On the women's side, three-time Olympian Lily Zhang punched her ticket to Paris in February. She qualified for the 2024 Games as the highest ranked American woman.
In March, Amy Wang and Rachel Sung qualified for the Olympics at the U.S. Olympic Table Tennis Trials, placing first and second in the tournament, respectively.
The U.S. men’s team did not qualify for a team quota spot. The top finishers from the Trials, Kanak Jha advanced to a Pan-American singles qualification tournament that was held in Lima, Peru in May and secured his spot at the Paris Games. Jha will compete in the men's singles event, and it will be his third appearance at the Games.
