Basketball returns to the Olympic Games, with this summer's tournament running from July 27 - August 11. Read on to learn about the venues in two different French cities which will host this year's hardwood contest.

Basketball games will be played at two different venues, one of which is located about two and a half hours outside the city of Paris.

The entire group phase of the men's and women's tournaments will be played at Pierre Mauroy Stadium, which is located in Lille, more than two hours from the capital city. The venue, which includes a retractable roof, is most notably the home stadium of professional soccer club Lille OSC.

During the knockout rounds, the action moves to the Bercy Arena in Paris. The arena, which is located along the Seine river and features a pyramid-shaped design, is a multi-use venue that normally hosts sporting events and concerts. During the Olympic Games, Bercy Arena will also be home to the gymnastics competitions.

Pierre Mauroy Stadium can hold 27,000 spectators, while Bercy Arena has a capacity of 15,000.

During the group phase at Pierre Mauroy Stadium, individual ticket prices range from 24-200 euros (about $26-$216) at face value. During the knockout phase at Bercy Arena, individual ticket prices for most games range from 80-510 euros ($86-$552). The most expensive tickets are for the sold-out men's gold medal game, originally going anywhere from 125-980 euros ($135-$1,061) at face value.
