The weightlifting competition, which was first contested at the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, will be take place in Paris from August 7 to August 11. 

Weightlifting will take place at the South Paris Arena 6, part of the Paris Expo, a convention center in Paris and a major hub for the 2024 Olympics.

Originally built in 1923, the Paris Expo has been developed extensively over the years and welcomes approximately 7.5 million visitors each year. In addition to weightlifting, the arenas at the Paris Expo will also host table tennis, handball and volleyball during the games, as well as multiple events for the Paralympics.

For weightlifting, South Paris Arena 6 will have a capacity of 5,000 people. 

Tickets for weightlifting events at the Paris Olympics range from 24 to 180 Euros ($26 to $195 USD) at face value.
