Tatyana McFadden races for her 20th Paralympic medal, the U.S. women's wheelchair basketball team looks to book a spot in the gold medal game, and the U.S. men's and women's teams play in the goalball semifinals.

Below is a rundown of what to watch on Day 8 of the Paralympic Games. All events listed below can be streamed live on NBCOlympics.com, and many can also be seen as part of the NBCSN broadcast.

NBCSN's live coverage of Day 9 from the Paralympic Games runs from 9 p.m. - 9 a.m. ET. The broadcast will cut around to the biggest events happening in Tokyo, including Team USA's knockout-round games in wheelchair basketball and goalball, as well as medal events in swimming and track & field.

The women's C4-5 road race will include the gold medalists from the C4 time trial (Shawn Morelli of the United States) and C5 time trial (Sarah Storey of Great Britain). Morelli is seeking her third medal of the Tokyo Paralympics, having also won a silver medal in track cycling last week. Storey, currently at 16 career gold medals, is one gold medal away from becoming her country's all-time leader. She started her Paralympic career as a swimmer at the 1992 Games.

American cyclist Aaron Keith will compete in the men's C1-3 road race. Keith, won silver in the C1 time trial this week, is making his Paralympic debut this year at the age of 50.

The track & field schedule will be split into two sessions once again, with the first session featuring seven medal events and the second session loaded with 11 medal events.

The second session includes finals for a pair of wheelchair races: the women's 400m T54 and men's 800m T54. The women's 400m field is headlined by U.S. star Tatyana McFadden, who has won a silver and a bronze so far at these Paralympics and is one medal away from her 20th all-time. The 400m is the shortest distance she'll race in Tokyo, while her longest event, the marathon, is still to come. American Daniel Romanchuk could race the men's 800m, but his status is up in the air after he withdrew from yesterday's 100m race due to injury.

Also taking place in the second session will be the men's discus throw F64 final. Team USA's Jeremy Campbell won gold in 2008 and 2012 and will look to reclaim his Paralympic title. He set the world record (65.86) back in May.

Seven matches are on tap in wheelchair tennis. Starting at 9 p.m. ET, center court will feature semifinals in women's singles (two matches), men's singles (two matches) and women's doubles (one match). After that, the action shifts to medal matches in quad singles. The bronze medal match is scheduled to start no earlier than 5 a.m. ET and will be followed by the gold medal match.

Australia's Dylan Alcott and the Netherlands' Sam Schroder will face each other in that gold medal match. Alcott, who won a gold medal as a wheelchair basketball player in 2008, is ranked No. 1 in the world and is the defending Paralympic champion.

Both of the American teams are in the goalball semifinals, and both will play games on this day. The U.S. men take on China in first game of the day, while the U.S. women play Brazil in the final game. The U.S. women have already matched up with Brazil once in this tournament, beating them 6-4 during the group stage behind three goals from Amanda Dennis.

The quarterfinal round produced a pair of exciting wins for Team USA. The men beat Ukraine by scoring on the first throw of sudden-death overtime, while the women scored three second-half goals to overcome a halftime deficit and defeat the RPC.

Soccer 5-a-side is a sport for athletes with vision impairments. Teams consist of four outfield players, all of whom are fully blind or nearly blind, and one goalkeeper, who can be a sighted and able-bodied athlete. The ball contains a special noise-making device which allows players to locate it, and guides, goalkeepers and coaches are all allowed to shout verbal cues to the outfield players. Such cues can help players find and exploit spaces on the field of play.

The semifinal round of the men's soccer 5-a-side tournament gets underway with a pair of matches. Winners will advance to the gold medal match, while the losers will play for the bronze medal.

Paralympic swimming reaches its penultimate day with 15 more medal events. The racing will be capped off by the women's 4x100 medley relay, which is scheduled to begin at 6:59 a.m. ET.

The knockout stage begins in sitting volleyball with a pair of men's semifinals. The second matchup, Iran vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a rematch of the last five Paralympic finals. The two countries have combined to win every gold medal in men's sitting volleyball at the Paralympics since 1988, with the majority of those belonging to Iran.

Spots in the gold medal game are in the line as the women's wheelchair basketball tournament reaches the semifinal round. The United States, fresh off a 63-48 win over Canada in the quarterfinals, will face China next. The first meeting between the two teams resulted in a heartbreaking loss for the Americans, one in which the defending Paralympic champions blew a 21-7 halftime lead and lost by a single point. As a result, China finished the group stage with a perfect record.

If the U.S. can avenge that loss and get past China, it would face another strong opponent—either Germany or the Netherlands—in the final.
