Capital Indoor Stadium, a legacy venue from the 2008 Olympics that hosted volleyball, will host figure skating at the 2022 Winter Games. Short track speed skating will also take place at the venue, which has a capacity of 18,000.

The stadium previously hosted a number of major sporting events, including one of the first NBA games in China back in 2004.
