Since making her Olympic debut at age 15 during London 2012, 27-year-old U.S. swimmer Katie Ledecky has put together an incredible résumé of gold medals, world titles and historic records to cement her place as one of the sport's greatest athletes. With an already legendary career in the books, she is a near-certainty to make the USA Swimming roster for her fourth-straight Olympic games. However, like all American swimmers, she'll have to make it official by performing well at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials.

The 2024 Trials will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Trials include nine days of competition (June 15-23), with all finals airing live on NBC in primetime and all competition streaming on Peacock, NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com and the NBC/NBC Sports apps.

The most decorated female swimmer of all time, Ledecky is expected to compete in four events at the trials, including the women's 800m and 1500m freestyle events, where she will look to defend her world records and gold medals from Tokyo. She will compete over the entirety of the trials, also taking part in both the 200m and 400m freestyle events to round out her schedule. Ledecky is a former world record holder in the 400m free, and has won Olympic golds in both the 200m and 400m events.

“I just want to have a lot of fun and I want to represent Team USA really well, and just kind of step up as much as I can and do the best that I can,” Ledecky said of her mindset heading toward Paris.
