Mary Tucker, Sagen Maddalena, Nick Mowrer and Patrick Sunderman qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games in three-position rifle on Wednesday at the USA Shooting Smallbore Rifle Trials Part 2, filling out the final spots on Team USA's shooting roster.

Scores from the event in Fort Benning, Georgia were combined with those earned in the fall of 2019 at Trials Part 1.

The U.S. qualified the maximum 21 quota spots (eight each for shotgun and rifle and five for pistol) but will send 19 shooters to Tokyo because Tucker and Mowrer had already qualified in other disciplines -- the former in air rifle and latter in air pistol.

Tucker, 19, only began shooting in high school. Mowrer, 32, made his Olympic debut in London in 2012 and is the the first American athlete to make the Olympic team in both rifle and pistol.

Maddalena, 27, was previously named an alternate in air rifle for Tokyo. Sunderman, 26, has been on active duty as a sergeant in the Army Marksmanship Unit since June 2016 and is also set to make his Olympic debut.

Notably, Ginny Thrasher -- the 2016 Olympic gold medalist in air rifle -- missed out on making the team after entering Trials Part 2 with the lead, finishing third overall.
