Germany vs. France

It was another quarterfinal match that went to extra time in the men's handball tournament. Germany did just enough to win 35-34 against France.

Before the match went into overtime, it seemed as if France managed the edge over Germany. The host nation had a two-goal lead with less than 15 seconds remaining in the second half.
