The latest episode of "The Podium," an NBC Olympic and Paralympic podcast, brings aboard Amanda McGrory and Michelle Konkoly, each multi-time Paralympic medalists.

McGrory, who secured seven Paralympic medals during her track and field career, and Konkoly, owner of four of Paralympic medals in swimming, worked on the Paris Games as broadcasts analysts for NBC's coverage. In this episode, McGrory and Konkoly share their highlight moments of these Paralympics as they reflect on Paris 2024.

"People are just completely overwhelmed with the support from the French people," Knokoly says on The Podium. "People lining the streets at 6:00, 7:00 in the morning for the triathlon. The swimming arena is packed every night. I know the track is too, so I think that has been an overwhelming success.

It's really been just so cool. Best Paralympics ever.

With Paris momentum at their backs, McGrory and Konkoly also look ahead to the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

"I think [awareness] only going to go up," McGrory said. "Paralympic awareness and engagement is one of the [USOPC’s] biggest goals. In the lead up to LA2028, Paris is setting the bar pretty high, but they're going to go bigger."
