Overview
Alpine skiing has been a discipline since the first Winter Paralympic Games in 1976. Since then, it has become one of the most popular sports at the Winter Paralympics.
Para alpine skiing will include five different events: special slalom, giant slalom, super-G, downhill and super combined. The athletes participating in these events vary based on their type of disability, such as standing, sitting or vision impairment.

Alpine skiing at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Paralympics will take place from Saturday, March 7 to Sunday, March 15, ending with the women’s slalom finals.
