Where is fencing being held at the Paris Olympics?

Fencing will take place at the Grand Palais, in the heart of Paris. Opened in 1900 for the Paris Universal Exhibition, the iconic venue boasts a glass roof and nave, created out of 6,000 tons of steel. 

The Grand Palais also hosted the 2010 World Fencing Championships. The venue has undergone a restoration project ahead of the Olympics and will also host taekwondo events.

The Grand Palais will have a capacity of 8,000 during the Olympic Games.
